This podcast was recorded in my Austin, Texas office, AKA the middle west bedroom of my home using a Logitech G330 headset/mic and Audacity.

It is about the March 3rd meeting where I and John Mayo presented two unique looks at how Audacity, a multitrack audio editor and recorder can be used to create podcasts. I did it from the viewpoint of a slightly informed newbie while John pulled out all the stops and showed what he could do. Of course, being a veteran of about 370 episodes of his podcast, ComicBookPage.com gave him a podcasting leg up.

I did my presentation using an Apple MacBook Pro and John used a Windows computer. No basic differences since Audacity will run on both OS X and Windows. And Linux.

The March 3rd, 2010 meeting kicked off at 6:30pm with the coordinator and 7 guests in attendance. The meetup was conducted at the offices of our sponsor, the Business Success Center at 7600 Burnett Road, suite 130. Visit their site. Topic of the April meeting will be Using Podomatic to publish your podcasts for free with a link in iTunes. Yes, in iTunes.

Details of the April meeting will be posted at http://podcasting.meetup.com/92/
