In this episode, we deliver a summary of the meetup, where we had Mac, Sheila, Dave and Lindsey attended.
We presented the following topics to the team:

- Events, including Podcamps (San Antonio in May and upcoming in Phoenix, AZ, on 14 Nov2009), ProductCamp held in Austin on 15 Aug 2009, Social Media Club and Social Media Breakfast events during the next 2 weeks from the meeting.
- BlogWorld and New Media Expo in October at Las Vegas.

- We described and highlighted the Zoom H4n recorder. However, the main interest and enthusiasm was in the Zoom H2 recorder (the pocket-size podcast recording device).
- We then went into Screencasting, and we gave an overview of the following:
* Camtasia Studio (on PC, but also coming for the Mac);
* Jing and Jing Pro (for both platforms)
* ScreenToaster (for both platforms)
* CamStudio (which we will try to give a demo at our next meeting)- for the PC
* ScreenFlow, Snow Leopard (feature to be built in) and SnapZ-ProX, as well as CamTwist for the Mac.
- We discussed the file formats for Screencasts: FLV, SWF, MP4, WMV and some applications and cameras that post directly to YouTube upon recording a video.
- We spoke about Quiktime Pro as a video trimming application.
- We also spent a good deal of time speaking about iPadio in order to record Phonecasts in your own free account which will give you a phlog (phone log). We had a recording created as a demo to show people how to use it, and we actually recorded a phonecast live during the session.
- We talked about SquareSpace (and perhaps wae can demo it in a future meeting), which is a platform that would include everything (or so they hope)--the blog, the hosting, the posting of audio/video files for podcasting, etc.
- We mentioned maestroconference.com and glance.com to do group collaboration and record them as podcasts via audio.

We also wanted to give you the link for the 6 tutorials on audacity:

Our next meeting will be scheduled at the same location (as soon as we get confirmation of the COMMUNITY ROOM). If we cannot get the September time frame to reserve the room, we will for sure get it scheduled for late October, after the BlogWorld Expo.
An email and communication will be delivered to the members via the Meetup facility, which is located at:
