MEETUP SESSION FOR BEGINNERS - 22 APRIL 2009

We will have our meetup session FOR BEGINNERS on 22 April 2009. Agenda is given, below, as well as some preparatory videos that will help you to get the most out of the session that is scheduled for this Wednesday evening at the Central Market- North location in midtown Austin.

MEETUP SESSION FOR INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED USERS - 18 MAY 2009

However, we also announce the meetup session FOR INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED members. The topics we will cover are some Social Media Podcasts and tools related to podcasting for social media, as well as the newest bit of hardware in portable recorders, the Zoom H4N (yes, we will have one available during that session, as well). We will also be talking about the upcoming Podcamp San Antonio and the BlogWorld/Podcast Expo, to see if any of you will attend and/or present at these events. We will finally begin the planning for a possible PODCAMP in Austin in late 2009 or early 2010, as well as getting a co-organizer, who can then take over by September as lead co-organizer, as I will work with that individual until January of 2010.

7:30 p.m. Room availability and display of podcast equipment/software/books

7:45 p.m. Start meeting - Introduction of attendees & their interests/podcasts

8:00 p.m. Update on portable recorders for podcasts: Zoom H4, H2 family

8:15 p.m. Update on NEW Zoom H4N (we will have on there at meeting)

8: 35 p.m. Editing Software: Focus on Audacity (free software on all platforms)

9:15 p.m. Close session
