In this episode of the Austin Podcasters Meetup audio podcast, we present 3 different themes:
(1) We introduce Joel Driver and John Mayo to the team. These attendees shared with us their experiences and also helped with suggestions and information to help other podcasters.
(2) We have an audio clip that was recorded live at the table where our Austin Podcasters Meetup was having our discussion and our hardware display. We discussed the hardware, as well as Dave Jackson of the School of Podcasting (at www.schoolofpodcasting.com), who had created a 5-minute Camtasia screencast demo for this meetup so we can understand the offerings better.
(3) We then played the audio clip from Dave Jackson, which can also be found at http://www.schoolofpodcasting.com/meetup.
This clip walks you through all the resources, benefits, and navigation at the School of Podcasting.
(4) We also summarized the new events coming up, like the PODCAMP SAN ANTONIO (NUMERO DOS) -- the second annual Podcamp. For informationn and other registration information, please contact Jennifer Navarrete, who is epodcaster@gmail.com.
(5) We talked about the direction of the Austin Podcasters Group and several suggestions to improve the location (such as perhaps a demo area or in the snack area of the Fry's next door).
